Looking at the wave forms shown on this slide, the top trace is aliased, the frequency is reading 9.91 MHz. On the bottom trace, with a different capture, the frequency reads 491.1 MHz, which is the proper frequency of the capture. Therefore, even though the wave form looks proper, the upper wave form is aliased due to sampling at a much lower frequency than the real frequency of interest.
