The FSUSB242GEVB is an evaluation board for the FSUSB242 USB switch that provides high voltage and surge protection for the HSD+/HSD- lines. Electrical surge is an increasing concern for small form factor connectors such USB microB and USB Type-C™. The STEVAL-LLL008V1 reference design is a dual-stage LED driver with high power factor designed for 100 W LED lighting applications using 6LoWPAN Mesh networking. The front-end flyback converter provides high power factor and low THD and implements CV primary side regulation (PSR) with input from an auxiliary winding on the transformer through the ZCD pin on the HVLED001B controller, so no isolated optocoupler is required. The flyback converter can deliver 105 W with an average 79 V output.

The TDTTP4000W065AN-0v1 4kW Analog bridge-less totem-pole power factor correction (PFC) evaluation board. Very high efficiency single-phase AC-DC conversion is achieved with the TP65H035WS, a diode-free Gallium Nitride (GaN) FET bridge with low reverse-recovery charge. Using Transphorm GaN FETs in the fast-switching leg of the circuit and low-resistance MOSFETs in the slow-switching leg of the circuit results in improved performance and efficiency.
