Up to four 12-bit DACs are provided on-chip, depending on the model. These DACs are 12-bit string DACs with a structure similar to that shown in this slide. The DACs have 3 different output modes: 0 to AVDD, 0 to VREF, or 0 to DACREF where DACREF is an input pin providing a reference solely for the DAC. This separates the reference for the DAC and ADC. Other key specifications of the DACs listed here include a settling time of 10uS, a gain error of ±0.5%, an INL of +/- 1.5LSB , a DNL of +/-1LSB, and an offset error of ±5mV max.
