The ADC can be configured in three different input modes: 1) Single-Ended, which means the conversion takes place between the ADC input channel and ground; 2) Pseudo-Differential, which means that the conversion takes place between the ADC input channel and the ADCCOM pin; and 3) Fully-Differential, where the ADC conversion is the voltage difference between any pair of ADC input channels. The ADC output result is available in a Unipolar or Bipolar format.
