The last set groups within the R8C/2x and R8C/3x series are the 2C, 2D and 38x. In general, both of these groups can be considered a superset within their respective series with features such as 20 A/D inputs, 2 DACs, comparators, and multiple internal oscillators to name a few. Even with the characteristics these devices offer, they still maintain full compatibility with lower-end R8C devices enabling users to easily scale their designs whenever required.
