This slide provides a comparison of the conductivity of various electrolyte materials. The ESRs of the ECAS series are much lower than traditional aluminum and tantalum capacitors because conductive polymer has a conductivity which is 10,000 times higher than traditional electrolyte. Its conductivity is also higher than MnO2 or TCNQ complex salt which are often used for tantalum capacitors. Due to the multilayer structure and conductive polymer for negative cathode, this series achieves top-class low ESR compared with other types of electrolytic capacitors.
