In addition to the 100V input and output capabilities and the wide dimming ratios, the LT3756-2 offers the following features: constant-current and constant-voltage regulation for the most accurate current matching, improved open LED status (vs. LT3756-1) for optimal system reliability, adjustable frequency (100kHz to 1MHz to maximize efficiency while minimizing external component size), programmable undervoltage lockout with hysteresis for improved reliability, open LED status pin (LTC3756 & LT3756-2), frequency synchronization (LT3756-1), PWM disconnect switch driver, a CTRL pin which provides a simple means of analog dimming, low shutdown current (<1μA), programmable soft-start, and a compact thermally enhanced 16-lead QFN (3mm × 3mm) or MSOP-16 package.
