Image of YAGEO's General Purpose High Voltage Ceramic Disc Capacitors - CGP SeriesKEMET, a Yageo Company, general-purpose encapsulated radial leaded ceramic disc capacitors are specifically designed for DC and pulse high voltage applications. These capacitors are well-suited for applications that require bypassing, coupling, and decoupling for example, for X-ray sources and pulsed lasers.  These capacitors consist of a ceramic disc both sides of which are silver/copper plated and connection leads are made of tinned copper steel wire with straight, vertical kink, outside kink, and inside kink leads. This series is available in SL, Y5P, Y5U, and Y5V dielectrics.
