PSoC 4 BLE integrates programmable AFEs and digital logic and CapSense. Integration of CapSense and programmable AFEs and digital logic reduces the system BOM cost. It gives flexibility to create custom AFEs for system interfaces using programmable analog blocks, such as op amps, comparators, ADCs, and DACs. Programmable digital architecture reduces the power consumption by offloading the CPU. UDBs can be used to create custom logic, and also implement digital serial protocols. The figure here shows an actual design for a heart rate monitor.
