Shown on this slide is an overview of the three series which make up the T Series Fast Acting GDT family.  The 2031 Series is a two electrode GDT that provides line to line or line to ground protection for any number of applications. The 2020 Series is a three electrode GDT that provides line to line and line to ground protection for applications requiring GR-1089 or ITU-T K.20 compliance. The optional failsafe further assures compliance to UL requirements. The 2030 Series is a three electrode surface mount GDT providing line to line and line to ground protection. The surface mount version supports automated board level assembly. All T series parts are designed to be used with specific TBU® HSP parts, thus taking the guess work out of which GDT will provide the correct and coordinated overvoltage protection for the TBU® High-Speed Protector.
