The four STMicroelectronics Blue modules are well supported by tools and documentation. All the documentation and tool information can be found at the www.st.com/bluemodules. For each module a USB dongle is available which is a plug and play tool helpful to familiarize the user with the AT command set. The user can plug this into a PC and using a standard hyper-terminal interface it is possible to send commands to the module and set up a connection with another Bluetooth enabled device. Module characteristics are described in relevant datasheets also posted on the www.st.com/bluemodules website. The use of the dongle is described in Application Notes that also detail the main features such as the connection set up and key command use. The AT command user guide is available as well from www.st.com/bluemodules webpage. This document lists the complete set of AT commands, specifying the syntax of each command and the expected responses.
