Shown here are the ML610Q17x devices that have LCD controllers on chip. All of the devices have 128K bytes of FLASH for program storage. The 172, 173, and 174 have 2K bytes of Data FLASH for data logging. A major difference between these parts are the number of LCD segment drivers that are available and the types of analog functions. The 172 and 178 do not have any comparators, whereas the two other devices have two comparators on each device. Like the 100 series devices, these devices have communications ports, ADCs, GPIO, PWM modules, and BLD. These features make them ideal for white goods and small home appliances as well as industrial and environmental controllers that require a user display. All four of these devices and reference boards as noted are available today.
