The high efficiency design allows for superior conduction cooled ratings in this small, 2.07” x 3.86” footprint. Utilizing the standard heat-sink and base plate for conduction cooling allows full load operation from -40°C to 50°C or higher, which is model dependent. When utilizing forced air of 100 to 500 linear feet per minute (LFM), the full load operation can be extended from 60°C to 80°C depending on the model and the amount of forced air. As shown here in the derating curve for model TEP 150-2516WI, it has conduction cooled full load power up to 55°C. At 100LFM of air flow the unit gives full power to 65°C and at 300LFM full power to 75°C.
