For use on the test bench, Murata offers two styles of hand-held test probes which are terminated with a SMA female connector. They are essentially identical, except for the length of the connector’s nose. The QE type features a short-nose design of 15 mm in length, while the QH type features a long-nose design of 20 mm in length. Both types include a locking mechanism to keep the probe in place (hands-free) while performing other manual test-bench activities and procedures. The standard cable length is 300 mm (about 12 inches), but custom lengths are available on request.  Lengths greater than 300 mm are not recommended due to inherent cable losses.
