The newest member of the Murata family of switch connectors is the ultra-miniaturized SWF receptacle, which offers identical electrical performance to that of the SWD series. The SWF offers a reduced footprint of only 2.5 mm x 2.5mm and maintains the same socket dimensions as the larger SWD type receptacle. This is a major advantage for those customers who are already firmly invested in the SWD and are familiar with the mating test probes. The SWF switch connectors are also able to withstand the high temperature soldering processes found in today’s modern lead-free manufacturing environments.  Both the SWD and SWF series of connectors are RoHS compliant.
