The LTC4020 is unique in Linear’s portfolio. The closest ICs are the LT8490, a complete solar charger, the LT3791-1 buck-boost controller when configured with an external microcontroller as a battery charger, and the LTC4000 when paired with an externally compensated switching regulator. However, the LTC4020 is the simplest and most full-featured solution.
