To help the user get started developing designs targeting the MAX® V family, there is a development kit available. The customer can click on the DigiKey P/N on this slide to purchase a kit on-line. This development kit provides engineers the ability to: develop designs for the 5M570Z CPLD; measure CPLD power (VCCINT and VCCIO); bridge between two different I/O voltages (adjustable VCCIO on CPLD bank 2); interface to external functions/devices via four connectors (or the user can design their own daughter card); read/write to memories such as 8 Kbit User Flash Memory (UFM) available within the 5M570Z CPLD or user installed  I²C or SPI EEPROMs; come up to speed quickly with a CPLD design by reusing the example designs provided by the kit’s Board Test System; and the customer can use the kit’s PCB board and schematic as a model for their design.
