The second set of user inputs is titled: Characteristics of Thermistor. First, the user will define the mechanical execution of the thermistor. The specific options include “Leaded” and “SMD”. Open ended selections including “SMD All Cases” and “Any case” are also available in the event the user does not have a preference of size or package respectively. The next thermistor characteristic requiring user input is the thermistor resistance tolerance. Finally, the maximum self-heating selection must be chosen. This selection is explained in more detail on the next page.
