touch screen control
The LPC32x0 includes a touch screen controller (TSC) that can operate in two different modes. In AUTO mode, the touch screen will automatically collect the X and Y coordinates of the pressed position. In MANUAL mode the controller can be sequenced entirely by software to collect the coordinates of the pressed position. This controller also operates as a three channel, 10-bit successive ADC. The analog portion of the ADC has its own power supply to enhance the low noise characteristics of the converter. A total of 87 pins can potentially be used as general purpose input/outputs (IOs). Also, an automatic keyboard scanner function is also provided that supports 8 x 8 keys. The 8-channel, general purpose DMA controller supports several peripherals including the SD card, the high speed UARTs, the I2S ports, and the SPI interfaces. Also, as mentioned earlier, dedicated DMA controllers are available for the USB, the Ethernet and the LCD controller.
