The LTM2882 is available in two input supply voltage options, 3.3V or 5V. The isolated DC-to-DC converter powers all of the internal components and provides a regulated 5V output supply, via the V_CC2 pin to other support circuits the application might require, such as network activity LEDs. The internal power solution is sufficient to support the transceiver interface at its maximum specified load and data rate, and external pins are supplied for extra optional decoupling. For half-duplex operation, the data enabled (DE) pin can be used as a low latency driver enable from the logic side by using the uncommitted auxiliary digital channel, D_IN to D_OUT. A logic supply pin allows easy interfacing with different logic levels from 1.62V to 5.5V, independent of the main supply.
