Welcome to the Aven Understanding Precision Cutters product training module. This presentation will highlight the key areas of cutter construction and provide a guide to selecting the right cutter for the user’s application. Areas of discussion will include joint construction, head shape and edges and alignment, and hardening. There are many precision hand cutting tools on the market today. In order to select the right tool for an application and to fit the budget it is essential to understand the differences in the various types of cutter construction.
