It is possible to make precision cutters that have no bevel at all.  Razor Flush™ cutters have jaws that are like two razor blades coming together. These cutters leave no pinch and are able to cut exceptionally fine wire and leads. Accu-Cut offers many cutters which incorporate a setscrew stop in the cutter handle or cutter jaw. This setscrew is adjusted at the factory during cutter inspection and tested to stop the two edges at the exact point of contact. By doing this, damage and dulling to the fine edges from impact and forceful use are prevented.
