This joint design also utilizes high quality threaded fasteners to ensure perfect alignment. For less wear the two halves meet only on thin bearing rings, not over the entire joint surface area. Additionally, the specialty nut has greater capacity to withstand force from the cutting load. Lastly, the Delrin washer eliminates the metal-to-metal interface providing smooth, easy operation and prolonging the life of the tool.
