STMicroelectronics STLINK-V3SET is a modular, high-performance debugging and programming probe for STM32 and STM8 MUCs. The probe is USB powered, supports DFU and drag-and-drop Flash programming, and provides a virtual COM port that allows the host to communicate with the target through a UART. The STLINK-V3SET has a modular architecture that allows adapter boards to extend the probe’s functionality. The main board natively supports JTAG and SWD interfaces, and the included adapter board adds support for the SWIM interface. The adapter board also provides a multi-path USB bridge to SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, and GPIOs that can be used to communicate with the target bootloader or to address other custom requirements.
