LM20K Family PowerWise Synchronous Buck Regulator Slide 26

This circuit allows the LM20134 and LM20154 to be connected in parallel to double the effective output current. The two devices are run out of phase to reduce the input current ripple. To successfully current share VIN, the COMP, SS, and FB pins should be connected between the devices. The output voltage is set by RFB1 and RFB2 just as in a stand-alone device. The ability to parallel devices in this manner is a product of the current mode control scheme paired with the synchronization capabilities of the device.
