The Spectrum Analyzer software for Teledyne LeCroy’s HDO oscilloscopes is designed to make frequency-domain measurements simple and intuitive. When using an HDO oscilloscope in spectrum analyzer mode, a spectrum-analyzer-like interface is displayed for easy viewing of signals in the frequency domain. Time-domain waveforms may be viewed alongside the frequency spectrum. The software automatically finds and labels amplitude peaks, which helps simplify the use of markers for frequency and magnitude measurements across the entire spectrum. An interactive table may be displayed to quickly navigate between peaks and measure between markers. Another useful feature is a spectrogram display, which shows how the spectrum is changing over time.
