Skyworks’ diode and passives portfolio includes a family of RF PIN diodes that are used as either RF switches or attenuators. This portfolio ranges from low capacitance PINs for high isolation switches to thick-I-region diodes for low distortion attenuators. Schottky diodes are offered for mixer and detector applications. This family includes diodes with a low Schottky barrier height for sensitive devices, to high barrier devices of ring and bridge quads for low distortion performance. Skyworks also has a large product offering of both abrupt and hyperabrupt tuning varactor diodes to service all the user’s electronic tuning needs as well as for use in voltage controlled oscillators, voltage tuned filter and voltage controlled phase shifter applications. Additionally, Skyworks offers a family of PIN limiter diodes for demanding receiver protection applications in chip form for high frequency systems or in surface mount plastic packages for fine and coarse limiter designs. This includes the new Integrated Limiter Modules. Finally, Skyworks’  passives product offering is completed by a family of two- and four-way equal power dividers, directional couplers, DC chip capacitors, and fixed attenuators for broad market applications.
