The chart on this slide shows an overview of the different configurations released in the Si86xx family. The larger box shows the unidirectional isolators. Channel counts from one to six are available, and the fifth character in the part number represents the total number of channels. As can be seen, up to half of the total number of channels available on a device are ‘reverse’ channels. The data on these channels flows the opposite from the main data direction. The sixth character in the part number designates the number of reverse channels in most cases. Beneath the table, the package options, isolation ratings, and speed ratings available for each configuration is indicated. Note that some of these are mutually exclusive, i.e. 5 kV isolation rating is only available in WB SOIC-16 package. In the box shown on the right hand side of the slide, the bidirectional parts are illustrated. Refer to the isolator ordering guide for more complete ordering part number information.
