Pomona’s line of Do-It-Yourself quick connectors features spring-loaded clamp connections for easy cable assembly and wire attachments. No soldering or set screws are required; simply push and hold the push tab, insert the stripped test lead wire (strip 4-6 mm of insulation), and release the push tab to secure the wire. This type of connector is reminiscent of stereo wire attachments to speakers, only better. A variety of wire gauges can be accepted as well: 22 to 18 gauge for the banana plugs and up to 15 gauge for the binding posts.
