The LPC2300 and LPC2400 have three independent high speed buses: the local bus, Amba High Speed Bus 1 and Amba High Speed Bus 2. The local bus connects the ARM core with the zero wait-state Flash and is the highest speed bus in the ARM7 architecture. The Amba bus 1 supports the USB and LCD controllers while handling USB packet reception and LCD frame transfer from internal or external SRAM to the LCD panel. The Amba bus 2 is dedicated to Ethernet packet reception and transfer to the SRAM. By operating independently, these busses can handle the large amount of data transfer that can occur when the peripherals operate concurrently.
