DMR20-Slide2

On this slide, a summary of the features and benefits of the DMR-20 series are presented, also designated “nanometers” for their compact size. Common features to the AC and DC meters start with a four-digit LED display with an over-voltage indicator. The LED elements are 0.3” high using bright LEDs allowing these meters to be easily read from distances of 3 meters, or about 10 feet. They also share an industry-standard mounting configuration commonly referred to as an “oil-tight” cut-out 30.5mm in diameter. Both are made with a rugged polycarbonate case that provides resistance to moisture, dust, and shock. A key feature of these meters is their ingress protection rating to IP67 and NEMA 6 levels, when properly installed. This feature supports use in applications where exposure to the extremes of harsh environments is expected. Both models operate over the industrial temperature range of -25°C to 60°C. These units are factory calibrated and feature screw terminal connections so that installation and operation are both simplified. With internal self-resetting fuses, these models provide long-term reliability. In addition, the DC meter also incorporates protection against reverse polarity to avert damage during installation. Being two-wire meters, these meters are self-powered meaning that no separate power supply is required to operate the meter and that they can be used as digital replacements for analog meters. The AC model has an input and measurement range of 85-264VAC while the DC model has auto-ranges from 6-75VDC, between the two accommodating the range of most AC and DC applications. Resolution for both models is 100mV, while the DC unit also provides resolution of 10mV for inputs less than 51V. The AC model carries certification from UL and CSA to UL61010-1, the standard for laboratory, test & measurement equipment, and process control applications. Supplied accessories include an EPDM rubber gasket and plastic hex nut so that no other parts are required for a complete installation.  In addition, knockout punches and tooling are available on request providing customers with one-stop shopping.
