LUXEON Rebel Colors are found in everything from emergency vehicle lights to the New Years Eve ball in Times Square, New York. The broad spectrum of color selection between 440 and 670nm is broken into nine colors: royal blue, blue, cyan, green, amber, red-orange, red, deep red and PC amber. By using these different colors the end user can greatly expand their color mixing gamut far beyond the plain Red-Green-Blue mix. A fully developed ecosystem means that customers do not have to worry about designing optics or trying to find a compatible driver, these are already available. LUXEON’s unique selections provide high performance when compared to other color LEDs found in the industry. PC amber, also known as ‘phosphor converted amber’ is based on the same technology as the white LEDs. This allows higher flux, efficacy, and hot/cold factor than regular amber LEDs. The Rebel ES royal blue and Rebel ES blue selections are similar in that they offer higher flux, efficacy, and hot performance than other royal blue and blue parts.
