The SL353 series Sensor ICs are very energy efficient, a competitive differentiator of these sensors. A supply voltage as low as 2.2VDC combined with a very low average supply current helps reduce power consumption, provides extended battery life, and promotes energy efficiency. Additionally, the push-pull output does not require an external pull-up resistor, helping to simplify the interface with common electrical circuits. This can potentially help to reduce PC board space and costs. Another competitive differentiator of these sensors is the non-chopper stabilized design. By not using chopper stabilization, these sensors eliminate the noise generated by products using this technique. This means that customers do not need filters to compensate for the noise, helping to reduce PC board space, part counts, and costs for the application.
