Grace™ is a plug in for TI’s Code Composer Studio, and is available at no cost. This allows users to have a consistent development environment. Also, with CCS being an eclipse-based IDE, many users will feel right at home when using Grace. A great benefit of being seamlessly integrated into the CCS IDE, is that the C code generated by Grace can be debugged, downloaded, and edited just like traditionally written code. The only difference is the amount of time and effort needed. By quickly enabling and configuring peripherals, and creating fully commented, easy to read C code, developers are able to move on to the real task at hand and focus on their application layer. This enables developers to focus on providing a high quality, robust, and differentiated solution, rather than spending time with low-level register settings.
