Welcome to the onsemi NI(S/V)3071 4-Channel eFuse product training module. This presentation will introduce onsemi’s latest 4-channel, wide input voltage eFuse product. It will explain key features of this eFuse, illustrate the function of this eFuse in many overcurrent protection and short-circuit situations, discuss advantages over traditional protection solutions such as standard fuses/relays, and the benefits in industrial and automotive applications ranging from 12V to 48V systems. The NIS nomenclature refers to the industrial variant and the NIV nomenclature refers to the automotive variant. This presentation will use NIS for simplicity.
