So, how does it work? Shown here on the left, as the current is flowing through the line it will generate a magnetic flux. The Flex Suppressor® has two characteristics that will impact this magnetic flux. The μ’ represents the inductive component of the material, which is going to preserve the magnetic flux, make it even stronger, or protect against outside interferences. This magnetic coupling capability is ideal for wireless power transfer (WPT) and/or RFID. The μ’’ on the other hand constitutes the resistance, or magnetic loss, of the Flex Suppressor material, which is going to break down the magnetic flux; even better, absorb it, and thus it will solve any noise issue by simply suppressing it.
