The graph on this slide shows the actual measured capacitance from -55°C to +200°C with and without applied DC voltage. On the left, the graph shows considerable capacitance loss above 130°C for the X7R and X8R capacitors and negligible capacitance change with the C0G capacitor. The graph on the right shows the same measurement, but with rated voltage applied to the capacitors. Again, there is considerable capacitance loss for the X7R and X8R capacitors but with DC voltage applied, the loss is over the entire temperature range. The C0G capacitor maintains its capacitance throughout the entire temperature range and under full rated voltage.
