GHI Electronics’ BrainPad is an educational STEM tool that can be used to teach everyone, from kids to college students to professionals. The BrainPad logically shows how computers work. It has four inputs that are routed to the brain, aka the processor. The brain then “thinks” about what is happening to control the four outputs. Two paths are provided for learning: Start Making and Go Beyond. The Start Making option makes it very easy to start making projects, while Go Beyond uses the same programming tools used by professionals. With the Start Making option there is nothing to install on your computer; everything works through your Internet browser using Microsoft MakeCode. However, the Go Beyond option requires some setup and software installation.
