Ferrite International was established in 1985 in Wadsworth Illinois, with the goal of producing a high volume of ferrite cores for the electronic ballast and switching power supply industries. As the largest volume producer in the Americas, Ferrite International diversified to support automotive, inverter, solar, charging and other industries.
