PIC18F46K80 / 66K80 eXtreme Low Power CAN MCU

Microchip's PIC18F "K80" 8-bit CAN microcontrollers (MCUs) featuring 1.8 V to 5.5 V operation and eXtreme low-power (XLP) technology for the industry's lowest sleep current consumption of less than 20 nA. The new MCUs also feature an on-chip 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a peripheral that enables mTouch™ capacitive touch-sensing user interfaces. They are ideal for applications in the automotive (body control modules, automotive lighting, door / seat / steering / window control, HVAC control), industrial (security systems, elevators, escalators), and medical (glucose meters, patient-monitoring devices) markets.

Plug-In Module (PIM)

Processor plug-in modules are small circuit boards to be used with the various Microchip development boards to evaluate various MCU families. These plug into the main processor socket of the development boards so that different microcontrollers can be used for prototyping, demonstration or development, quickly and easily. This processor PIM includes a 44-pin PIC18F46K80 MCU sample.
