The next group of slides will go over use cases and some example designs. The first few cover the Trion® devices acting in more traditional FPGA solutions, followed by examples geared towards the using the MIPI/CSI hard block in various camera applications.  Efinix has had success in many industrial applications such as motor control, LED signage panel controls, and LCD interfacing, all with some in line processing. Captured here are some block diagrams highlighting those types of applications. These are examples of processing or processor off load, where the designer is controlling the motors or LED/LCD panels and algorithmically manipulating them based on the inputs to the FPGA. On the bottom is a TCON like example, where the device is doing a display conversion, to make it easy to connect various types of displays to the system. Efinix’s devices act as a conversion function to allow various displays to still work even though they are not exactly the same, allowing system flexibility to connect many displays.
