Almost all blocks feature a multi-foot design which permits mounting to any of the standard rails. This eliminates problems with mixed rails and blocks, simplifies system design, and reduces inventory. DIN terminal blocks are molded of high strength, flexible Polyamide 6.6 thermoplastic. This material features an operating range of -30° C to 100° C and has long history of successful field application. All Amphenol PCD DIN terminal blocks have been designed to conform to the international technical specification IEC947-7-1. UL recognition is under File No. 1059 and CSA approval file 22-2, No. 158. In addition, the blocks also conform to other European and international standards such as DEMKO, NEMKO, and KEMA.
