Harsh environment blocks are specifically designed and developed for critical and harsh environment applications. Explosion proof blocks are recommended for chemical and petrochemical industry applications. They are designated for Aex ell and EX ell applications and Class 1, Zone 1 hazardous locations. All blocks comply to EN50019, including 100% testing at 120% of test voltage. Harsh environment and explosion proof blocks are available in wire gauges of 24 – 2 AWG with pitches ranging from 5mm – 12mm. Voltage ratings are up to 800V and current ratings are up to 145A.
