Due to the small footprint of the component (2.8 x 2.8) and the extended height of 2.8 mm the inductor fits in nearly all low power DC/DC Converter applications as well.

The TPC 2828 is available from 0.056 µH up to 22 µH and is tuned specially for converters which run with a high switching frequency.

Due to the 2.8 mm height the current capability of the TPC 2828 is respectively high and nearly unmatched within the market for an inductor with such a small footprint.
