RDM Series Dome Antennas

Raltron’s RDM series of dome antennas are omnidirectional, heavy-duty, fully IP67 waterproof external M2M antennas for rugged telematics, transportation, and remote monitoring applications. Working off a satellite signal, they are designed to be mounted on vehicles, semi-trailers, mining vehicles, law enforcement vehicles, agricultural equipment, autonomous vehicles, and asset management vehicles. Common applications include vehicle tracking, communicating with operators, surveying, mining operations, and environments with operating frequencies in the LoRa range.

The antennas meet or exceed a variety of environmental ruggedization specifications for transportation and fixed area applications and can be mounted on the roof of a vehicle or fixed structure. The antennas have their own ground plane and can radiate on any mounting environment, like metal or plastic, without affecting performance. The cables are low loss, allowing for lengths of up to 10 meters, which is critical for buses, trains, robotics, and other commercial transport applications.
