Kinetis KW2x Wireless MCUs
The Kinetis KW2x MCU is a low power, compact integrated device consisting of a high-performance 2.4 GHz IEEE® 802.15.4 compliant radio transceiver and a powerful ARM® Cortex®-M4 core system with connectivity and precision mixed signal analog peripherals.
Part of the large Kinetis MCU portfolio, the Kinetis KW2x MCU family of devices are used to easily enable connectivity based on the IEEE 802.15.4 family of protocols including ZigBee Pro network stack and application profiles for smart energy 1.x, home automation, healthcare, and RF4CE, as well as the ZigBee IP network stack and the smart energy 2.0 application profile. Typical applications include home area networks consisting of meters, gateways, in-home displays, and connected appliances, and also networked building control and home automation applications with lighting control, HVAC and security.

Kinetis KW20Z Wireless MCUs
The KW20Z is an ultra low-power, highly-integrated single-chip device that enables IEEE® 802.15.4-2011 RF connectivity for portable, extremely low-power embedded systems. Applications include portable health care devices, access control, security systems, smart energy and home area networks.
The KW20Z Wireless MCU integrates a 2.4 GHz transceiver supporting O-QPSK modulations, an ARM® Cortex®-M0+ CPU, 160 KB Flash and 20 KB SRAM, 802.15.4 packet processor, hardware security and peripherals optimized to meet the requirements of the target applications.

The Kinetis KW2xD wireless MCU provides a low-power, compact device with integrated IEEE 802.15.4 radio, targeting control and monitoring applications for home and building automation including appliances, access control, climate control, energy management, lighting, safety and security. The KW2xD supports Thread, a lightweight, low latency IPv6 mesh networking stack, specifically designed to meet the requirements of next generation wireless networks.
