The Munich GUI supports multiple Pmod compatible evaluation boards with SPI interfaces. In the example shown here the USB2PMB adapter board is connected to a MAX11300PMB board. The design engineer can see the 20 ports for MAX11300 shown. Since this has just powered up no configuration has been loaded to the MAX11300 devices so all ports appear as High Impedance (HI-Z). In order to program the target MAX11300 the Munich GUI allows the design engineer to open a Configuration File (that was created previously with MAX11300 Configuration Software) and then to write this bitstream to the MAX11300. Part 3 of this training module will go into detail how to create and prototype a design with Munich GUI.
