The Zephyr™ sensors have been designed with high stability so that they reduce errors due to thermal effects and the effects of time on the sensor, to limit any null or span shifts. This often eliminates the need for system calibration after PC board mounting, and periodically over time. Low pressure drop is important in medical and industrial applications to allow the system to operate quietly and with less wear on system components. Linear output provides a more intuitive sensor signal than the raw output of basic airflow sensors and can help reduce production costs, design, and implementation time.
