The A6211 is an LED driver that uses a step-down buck regulator topology designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It is capable of driving high brightness LEDs at a constant current of up to 3A, derived from an input voltage that can range as high as 48V. LED dimming is controlled via a simple digital PWM input signal. The maximum output current is set by choosing an appropriate current sense resistor value. It integrates many functions, thus reducing the amount of external components and overall solution footprint.
