ROHM LDs provide superior reliability that allows them to be easily handled, contributing to improved productivity. Normally the LD itself is extremely vulnerable to external factors such as static electricity, so great care must be taken when designing and mounting in equipment. ROHM LDs adopt a window mirror structure even in the medium mW class used for laser line markers, making them highly resistant to destruction due to static electricity and COD caused by overcurrent. In addition, the unique structure minimizes output tolerance due to temperature changes by half versus other products on the market, contributing to greater energy savings and longer life. Although the maximum output of 20 mW is less than that of other companies, it is sufficient for applications such as line markers. However, improved resistance to COD and ESD is provided, along with better temperature characteristics. As such, they are expected to be used outdoors. Samples are readily available online or at distributors, allowing customers to easily begin evaluating and verifying characteristics.
